Lately, I've been having a very "fuck it" attitude and maybe it has everything to do with work and how much I hate it but at the same time, it has everything to do with who I am.
Fuck it.

Daylight savings time
I am so terrible with keeping up with a blog. I really want to write though, I promise. Especially because I have the worst memory and having old posts to read always helps me recover stuff I've forgotten. I wish I had written more during my time in Australia because, although only two years ago, I cannot even remember the name of the street I lived on nor half the places I went to often. Yes, often I was at bars. Whatever. It's still really sad because it was such a memorable experience for me but I cannot recall the names of most places/things I did/saw.
Spring is coming in 2 weeks! Where has winter gone? I barely got to go snowboarding and I did not have a Spring Break this year (which is in the winter for Northeastern). Not that I'm complaining about having nice, warm weather but time is definitely starting to speed up and I'm not liking it. I feel like 2009 JUST started but winter is about to be over already and I can see summer around the corner. Life after college sucks... haha.
I decided (about 2 seconds ago) I'm going to make a list of things I'd like to accomplish this year. A monster to-do list that I must complete by the end of the year, and maybe add to it, periodically. Some serious, some fun and some more difficult than others but mostly feasible. I love lists. And checking things off.
1. Pay off at least one of my credit cards (sadly, this is #1)
2. Get health insurance
3. Decide my career path
4. Visit one of my sisters in Beijing/Dubai (hopefully both!)
5. Watch a Broadway play
6. Have dinner with the Australia crew
7. Cook for my parents.
8. Learn to play real tennis
9. Go white water rafting
10. Go to the Bronx Zoo!
11. Go to MoMA
12. Go to the new Yankees stadium, and Giants
13. Spend a weekend in the Hamptons
14. Eat a Philly cheesesteak from Philly
15. Be able to run 5 miles nonstop (even if its just on the treadmill)
16. Learn to play simple guitar (or any instrument!!)
I know a lot of these seem simple but sometimes when things are so simple, they are often put on hold and never gotten to. Hopefully I will get to all of these things sooner than later so I can compile another list :)

unemployed still..
Yes, 2 months later, I am still unemployed. WHATEVER! Can't really blame the job market though because I haven't really been looking. But, sure I will agree with the world that the job market sucks. Maybe once it stops sucking, I'll start looking. Or maybe after I get back from France... All these lil vacations are totally deterring me from actually being on the search. Crap.
A big thanks to sabizzle for inspiring me to write this post. About nothing.
I'm excited to go biking this weekend with S. I'm being outdoorsy again. I like being outdoorsy. But not the mosquitos that like to prey on me like cats on mouse =(. Also excited to go camping next weekend! My first camping adventure. Well, not if you count the horrendous experience in Australia with Alex and the strangers we met. Well, my first time camping and sleeping in a tent! Can't wait to get eaten by a grizzly bear.
Tonight I am going to kick some ass on the mini-golf course and he doesn't know it (or let him win, either one).
PS. it has only been a month and a half!

New York, New York
I am officially a college graduate. Five years of Boston, classes, and stupid law firm co-ops and now it's all over. Nemo and I have moved back home to good ol' Staten Island. One of us needs to find a job and I wish it was Nemo. I haven't been doing any job hunting (still) because I keep saying that I'll start after my California trip. I'll be leaving for LA this Saturday and headed to Vegas first for 2 nights. Then afterwards, everything is really up in the air. Will be hanging out with Allen and Chad and all the East Coast abandoners. Can't wait!

The Beginning of the End
It is the beginning of the end of many things. Some good, some bad. In a couple months, it will all be over. I usually hate talking about it but I guess I can't avoid it forever. I have no idea what lies ahead. I haven't even started looking for jobs yet. Maybe, subconsciously, I'm not job-hunting because that will mean I've accepted the fact that I will soon no longer be a student =(
Bittersweet.

Ive been home for a little over a week now and things are just ..... weird. I enjoy being home because I miss all my friends dearly but at the same time, I can't get over Australia. I can't belive that I'm home again because it feels so right, but at the same time, I felt ast if Sydney was my life. For the past 4 1/2 months, Sydney was my life. It wasn't just a vacation. I got accustomed to everything about it and it really sucked that I had to leave. I know a lot of people said that coming home would be coming home to the real world but what does that really mean? 4 1/2 months is a long time and its enough to become adjusted to some place completely different.
Moral of the story....I wish I didnt havent any life goals because at this point, I want the complete opposite of what I've wanted my whole life ... and I just don't know what to do ...
